Quintessa has developed a web-based database-driven application for the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA). All work is undertaken under a Quality Management System that is certified to be in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and the TickITplus standard for software development.
For the NEA, a web-based application for managing Features, Events and Processes (FEP) relevant to the long-term safety of geological disposal facilities for radioactive waste has been developed. This application has an administrative interface, through which the the updated International FEP List has been implemented (see also the PDF version) and national member organisations have defined their own project-specific FEP lists, with version control and review and approval processes built in. It also has a public facing interface though which published versions of the FEP lists can be viewed.
