Scientific & Mathematical Consultants

Quintessa recruits self-motivated individuals with an MSc or a PhD in a relevant scientific or mathematical subject and who have:

  • demonstrable academic excellence;
  • strong quantitative capabilities;
  • proven ability to conceptualise and solve problems;
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
  • at least 2 years relevant post-university experience.

Accounts and Administration Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a for someone to join us on a part-time basis in a newly created accounts and administration assistant role supporting our Financial Controller. The successful candidate could be based in either of our two offices.

The successful candidate will be AAT Level 2 qualified (or higher), be able to demonstrate at least 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable and basic bookkeeping and must be willing to become fully involved in both financial and administrative aspects of the company. Additional skills that would be essential for success within the role include:

  • experience using Sage 50 Accounts or similar;
  • intermediate MS Excel skills;
  • strong communication skills; and
  • an ability to manage your own time.

On offer is part-time flexible working, circa 15 hours per week (but with the possibility to increase hours should the successful candidate excel within the role) with a competitive salary and an excellent package of employee benefits including:
