Vicky has joined Quintessa's Warrington office, as a member of the Geosciences team. Vicky has been investigating and resolving a wide range of land quality and environmental impact challenges within the nuclear industry for 25 years, underpinned by a BSc in Physical Geology and Geomorphology and an MSc in Engineering Geology. She has worked across a variety of nuclear licensed sites as well as complex sites in other highly regulated industries, giving an excellent understanding of both radiological and chemical hazards and the ability to develop coherent management strategies for a variety of scenarios. She has supported clients in new build, operational and decommissioning phases, often path-finding new working methods or providing technical guidance and specification documents for future delivery which will satisfy evolving regulatory requirements. Vicky has significant experience of the planning, design and practical implementation of site characterisation and monitoring programmes ensuring that over-arching management and restoration strategies remain achievable. She will be supporting a variety of projects related to strategic land quality management, emergent technology and regulatory compliance.
