Quintessa has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People Standard at the gold level, demonstrating their continuing commitment to realising the potential of their employees.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage employees effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Working with clients across the globe, Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
For Quintessa, Investors in People sits naturally alongside our employee-owned ethos that encourages empowerment and involvement of all employees in the strategy and management of the business. Indeed, the assessment report noted that “it is difficult to imagine an environment where the values could be better understood, more closely aligned with employees and stakeholders, due to the way they are defined and linked through various communication forums, internal systems and processes and general management styles and approaches.”
Quintessa’s Managing Director, Richard Little, said “We achieved bronze level when we first applied for the standard in 2016. Since then we have implemented various improvements in the way we operate as an employee-owned company and are delighted that this has been recognised by Investors in People. As well as highlighting our strengths, the assessment report notes areas in which we can progress further in the coming years.”
