Geochemical Modelling of Metals/Metalloids

State-of-the-art codes are used to model the chemical behaviour of metals/metalloids, including waste containers, as well as radiological and non-radiological contaminants.

In conjunction with experimental and natural/engineered analogues, thermodynamic modelling can be used to identify corrosion products and solubility-limiting solids. Contaminant release and transport behaviour can be simulated using both commercially available and specialist “in house” software.
