Monitoring provides assurance that a site is safe and can also help to inform and build confidence in the understanding of the site and its surrounding environment. Quintessa can provide support in developing appropriate environmental monitoring programmes and/or refining existing programmes that have evolved with time to help ensure that they are proportionate and are focused on key locations, media and pathways.
Quintessa's capabilities and experience includes reviewing the environmental monitoring programme for the Dounreay site and refining it to reflect present-day site activities and associated hazards.
