Quintessa

New TESLA video tutorial released

With the help of placement student Jennifer Wilson, Quintessa has released the first in a series of video tutorials for its decision-support software, TESLA, in the form of a YouTube playlist. Subsequent tutorial videos will be added to the playlist.

TESLA supports decision makers faced with complex problems drawing on multiple and uncertain sources of qualitative and quantitative evidence. It provides a means to break a decision down into a hierarchical structure, in such a way that information can be easily gathered and the implications analysed and presented.  This first video covers basic concepts and terminology associated with the software. Subsequent videos will describe how to use the software in more detail with the help of illustrative examples.

If you have any queries about this tutorial or any other aspect of TESLA including suggestions for future video content, please contact Paul Suckling. For further information on TESLA, including access to a free evaluation version, please visit TESLA’s home page
