• Parameters in AMBER are used to define the values and equations that are used in calculations and in the analysis of the results
• Multiplicity of parameters allows us to define different values across a nameset
• Namesets in AMBER are lists of items. There are in-built namesets, such as Contaminants, and user-defined namesets
