Quintessa is delighted to announce that the Unity2 team has secured a position on the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s Direct Research Portfolio Lot B framework. This framework will enable the NDA to receive support in meeting their research and development needs that arise from some of the most complex science and engineering challenges in the field of radioactive waste management, site decommissioning and restoration. The value of this work is likely to exceed £12m over a four-year period.
The Unity2 team brings together a team of specialist SMEs, research organisations and universities, and several large international companies to meet the NDA’s technical requirements. This collaborative approach offers the benefits of an established group of innovative SMEs and hands-on decommissioning and restoration organisations to meet the NDA’s research needs.
