It is 25 years ago today that David Hodgkinson founded Quintessa with the aim of providing an enjoyable and fulfilling working environment in which talented scientists and mathematicians could use their problem-solving skills to help clients. Over the subsequent years, the Company’s services have grown to include decision support, geosciences, materials modelling, mathematics, risk assessment and training.
Quintessa has now undertaken over 1400 projects in over 30 countries for more than 130 clients, many of whom have become long-term clients. Such relationships have been facilitated by our stable and sustainable growth resulting from our employee-ownership structure in which all employees are empowered to contribute to operational and strategic decisions. This in turn creates a culture of engagement and openness within the company which has supported innovation, and the recruitment and retention of talented employees who have valued building trusted partnerships with clients by understanding and addressing their needs and providing high-quality support.
