Quintessa

Quintessa's artist featured in Northwich Arts Festival 2019

Quintessa's employees are known for more than just science! Laura Limer, who lists "arts and crafts" as some of her non-work interests, has two of her artworks on display as part of the Northwich Arts Trail 2019.

Laura, who studied Art and Design at AS-level some 20 years ago, picked up her artistic tools in 2018 to support her wellbeing and life-work balance. She has since exhibited in a number of locations across Cheshire, and sells her cards and prints locally under the name of “Shed Space Arts”. In July 2019, two of Laura's lino prints ("Red, White and Blue" and "Rolling Hills" - both shown in this story) will be on display in Northwich as part of the month long Northwich Festival of Arts 2019. In addition, more of Laura's artworks will be on display, and available to purchase, at the Northwich Art Shop's Grand Day Out on 27th July in Northwich Memorial Court. People will also be able to have a go at lino printing (the medium used to make the images shown here) for a small donation to the Grozone Community Garden, one of the many charities that Quintessa supports.
