Peter Wood has a DPhil in electrochemistry and extensive nuclear industry experience including: oxidation of nuclear fuel; fission gas release; reactor graphite monitoring; radioactive waste management research strategy: corrosion of stainless steel waste packages; ILW package fire and impact accident performance; criticality safety; and communication of research results and their application in safety cases.
