While living in Shanghai, Laura continued her involvement in safety assessments and biosphere modelling for radioctive waste projects, in addition to soil-plant modelling to assess the effects of potential leakage from CO2 storage sites. Back in the UK Laura is continuing to work in these areas and to expand her range of activities, for example to become part of Quintessa's team supporting safety cases for the continued safe operation of Advanced Gas Cooled Reactors.
